This week, beefs, rap group comparisons and snitching are all part of XXL's Hip-Hop Moments of Clarity, a podcast that examines rap culture through unfiltered commentary from prominent curators of the culture.

Our hosts for this week are XXL's Editor-in-Chief Vanessa Satten, veteran hip-hop journalist Shaheem Reid and hip-hop entrepreneur Rahman Dukes. While this is our lineup for this week, hosts and guests may change weekly.

As is always the case, social media found something new to vehemently debate this week. This time, it was the idea of whether Dreamville duo EarthGang could be the second coming of OutKast. Courtesy of a tweet from music industry figure YesJulz, who said just that, the thought has become a hot topic and we had to break it down for the latest episode.

Outside of the big debate, another hot topic is 6ix9ine as the date for the rapper to reportedly testify against his former Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods members Anthony "Harv" Ellison and Aljermiah "Nuke" Mack nears. Newly-surfaced reports state that his family will not be in attendance that day in court as they fear for their safety, despite the fact 6ix9ine previously hired extra security for them. Will their safety really be in jeopardy once he's released?

Other topics discussed include 50 Cent and Ja Rule's latest back-and-forth, Troy Ave's upcoming trial for the 2016 Irving Plaza shooting, the anniversary of Tupac Shakur's death and more.
