Sam Hunt Takes the Back Waters Stage in August

In another big announcement this week, Q Casino President and CEO Alex Dixon has revealed that pop country superstar Sam Hunt will be coming to the Back Waters Stage on August 14th, 2022 at 7 pm.

Sam Hunt will be joined by special guests Warren Zeiders and Sean Stemaly. Zeiders is known for his high-energy, muscle-bound brand of country music. Meanwhile, Stemaly is another rising name in country music, having collaborated with the likes of HARDY. He also opened for Riley Green and Morgan Wallen, among other big names.

After something of a hiatus following the release of his debut album Montevallo — which produced hit singles "Leave the Night On," "House Party," and "Make You Miss Me," to name a few — in 2014, Hunt dropped his sophomore record Southside in 2020. Hunt was back like he never left with the release of his singles "Kinfolks" and "Hard to Forget," which samples Webb Pierce's "There Stands the Glass" from 1953.

Tickets for Sam Hunt go on sale on Friday, May 13th, 2022 at 10am on Back Waters Stage's website. General admission tickets start at $69.50; Turpin Dodge VIP tickets will be available as well. Tickets can also be purchased at Guest Services at Q Casino. This is an all ages show, set to be held rain or shine.

Q Casino is an entertainment and gaming complex located in Dubuque, Iowa. The casino is owned by the City of Dubuque, and operated by the non-profit Dubuque Racing Association, its license holder.
