That Was Easy

Snow is coming so we spent the weekend organizing the shed and cleaning up the yard.  While we don’t have a tree in our yard, it seems all the leaves in the neighborhood migrate there anyway.  Lucky for me, this weekend was unlike any other.

Every year I go to the store for bags and tags.  I rake and bag all the leaves (usually about 6 or 7 of them) and then haul them to the curb for pick up.  It’s a couple of hours of pain the back work.

This year my wife suggested we call somebody to pick up the leaves for us.  I wasn’t about to argue.

We called Brad at J&B Lawn Service and he showed up with a couple of young guys.

They raked everything into a giant pile in about 15 minutes, then fired up the giant vacuum on the back of his truck.  In about 7 minutes they had everything sucked up.

They even let my 4 and a half year old son Jacob have a turn on the vacuum.

Best of all, it only cost us a few bucks… and I got to move on with my weekend.
