The Game Is Still On…For Now

One of the biggest local questions about how COVID-19 will affect sports is whether or not the Field of Dreams game on August 13 between the Yankees and White Sox.  And according to a reporter that covers the sport for the MLB Network, the news is good.

Jon Morosi tweeted a statement from Major League Baseball about the game this morning, saying that to date, there's no change in status of the game.

There are unconfirmed rumors that the teams involved in the game might change, given that the current 60 game schedule released by MLB does not feature the Yankees and White Sox playing each other this year.
