This morning after 8am, tune in for the latest edition of our Wake Up: Unpugged series.  This week, we meet Elizabeth Pape.

Elizabeth is quite a talent.  In fact, she actually fronts two local bands.  One is a two piece duo called Broken Strings.  The other is a full band called Zero 2 Sixty.

I got a chance to see Elizabeth last year at Carlos O'Kelly's Restaurant as part of Broken Strings and really enjoyed it.

Elizabeth is a Dubuque native.  Her powerful vocals and energetic performances have captivated audiences over the last 7 years throughout the area.  She performs over 80 shows per year with the bands covering a wide variety of genres including country, classic rock, modern rock, alternative rock, blues and pop.

Elizabeth is a singer/songwriter at heart.  Through her music she shares her life experiences through a unique style of music mixing country, blues and pop.

Tune in this morning to learn a little bit about Elizabeth, her music and details on her upcoming performances.  She'll also treat us to an acoustic performance of one of her originals.

She'll be performing November 11th at Spirits (with Broken Strings), November 12th at Courtside for the Hail to the Heroes Event from 5:30 to midnight (with Zero 2 Sixty) and on November 13th at Sundown Mountain for their ski swap (with Broken Strings).

If you want to learn more, you can check out the official ZERO 2 SIXTY BAND FACEBOOK PAGE, or the BROKEN STRINGS FACEBOOK PAGE.

Check her out this morning.  I promise you'll enjoy her great voice!
