What A Party!

Our son, Jacob, turns 5 years old tomorrow.  Tonight we had a special party for him!

While I had been in them before, we decided to throw his party inside Alley Cats V.I.P. Suites inside the Diamond Jo Casino.

If you're not familiar, there is a private side room off of Cherry Lanes.  Inside, there are 4 special lanes, special seating and video screens.

Not only were grandmas, grandpas, aunts, uncles and cousins invited... turning 5 meant also inviting Jacob's entire pre-k class.

Needless to say, it was a full house!  The kids had a blast.  We bowled, ate cake and opened presents.  Jacob had a big smile on his face the whole time.

I really have to give all the credit to my wife, Lisa.  She organized the party, got the presents and even made goodie bags for each of the kids.

As I write this she's sitting on the couch with a sore back (and sore throat from corralling all the kids).

Special thanks to grandma Cindy, who always does a knock-out job making cakes!
