Who’s Up For Some Cards?

I have five siblings.  One brother and four sisters.  While we don't see a lot of each other, one thing is certain when we reconnect at our Mom's house.

Two things usually happen.  First, it takes about thirty minutes and we all start picking on each other... just like when we were kids.

Second, somebody starts talking smack and things need to be settled over a cribbage board.  While euchre used to be the game of choice, a few years ago somebody pulled out a cribbage board and that's been the game of choice ever since.

My sister, Katy, was home this week from Denver.  While we only spent a few hours together this visit, we couldn't help but rekindle our cribbage rivalry!

The best thing about cribbage is racking up a big score and skunking your opponent.  It's definitely a favorite in our family.
