A Wrinkle in Time is less than two months away. I know, right? Can you believe it? From what we’ve seen of it, it looks absolutely amazing, and each trailer has been even better than the last. Today’s newest one focuses on Meg Murry (Storm Reid) and her relationships with her father and with her best friend Calvin.

There’s not much in this trailer that we haven’t seen yet besides a few close-up shots of our heroes, but what’s interesting about it is how different it is from the other promotional material we’ve seen so far. It’s a lot more about Meg as a person, missing her father and trying to save him and the rest of the universe while also navigating this crush she has on this boy — it’s a lot for one gal to deal with. The whole thesis of the book is a girl who considers herself boring, dumb, and unattractive becoming a hero and gaining her own self-respect. This trailer really drives that point home.

From visionary director Ava DuVernay comes Disney’s A Wrinkle in Time, an epic adventure based on Madeleine L’Engle’s timeless classic which takes audiences across dimensions of time and space, examining the nature of darkness versus light and, ultimately, the triumph of love. Through one girl’s transformative journey led by three celestial guides, we discover that strength comes from embracing one’s individuality and that the best way to triumph over fear is to travel by one’s own light.

A Wrinkle in Time opens in theaters March 9, 2018.
