It looks like YG and Ty Dolla $ign are in some potential trouble. According to TMZ, the two California artists are being threatened with a lawsuit after allegedly beating up an Australian soccer player by the name of Nelly Yoa.

Yoa claims the two hip-hop luminaries—who linked on YG's breakout single, "Toot It and Boot It," over seven years ago—assaulted him in the V.I.P. room of Eve's Nightclub in January of 2015. Yoa says YG and Ty Dolla $ign began pushing and shoving everyone upon their entrance to the VIP room, and when Yoa resisted, Ty Dolla began punching and kicking him in the head.

The soccer star says the "physical and mental" injuries he endured during the alleged attack prevented him from earning a "substantial income" because he lost a prospective deal with the Melbourne City Football Club.

Ty recently revealed that YG will feature on his forthcoming Beach House 3 project. “I got my homie YG on there,” Ty Dolla said in an interview with DJ Whoo Kid. “We got a single we ’bout to drop, and it’s gon’ be our first single since ‘Toot It and Boot It.’ That feels real good.” Last week, Ty also dropped two new songs from the upcoming album.

Hopefully, this potential lawsuit doesn't put any damper on their plans. Watch a video of the alleged confrontation between Ty Dolla and Yoa below.
