A Fan-Favorite Band is Returning to Q Casino in October
#YourGirlfriendsFavoriteBand is returning to Q Casino on Saturday, October 22nd at 8pm for a night of reimagined classics and great energy.
The powerful party band known as the Pork Tornadoes will be performing at the Q Showroom next month. The "good-looking, well-mannered men who like Guinness, whiskey, and may or may not have beards" have been incredibly popular in Dubuque and the surrounding areas ever since they hit the scene years ago.
The Pork Tornadoes hail from Cedar Falls, IA, and have played around the nation at the best and biggest bars and festivals alike. In the last 10 years, the band has played more than 500+ shows, and have successfully evolved their live show into something you won't see anywhere else.
The band's most popular release is easily "Tennessee Whiskey," a cover of the George Jones song that saw a massive resurgence in 2014 when Chris Stapleton recorded and released his version. To date, the Pork Tornadoes' version has racked up more than seven million views on YouTube.
The band is led by Mason Greve, arguably one of the most talented vocalists in all of Iowa. He was one of 100 finalists on a popular primetime singing competition in 2014.
During their shows, the Pork Tornadoes tackle a wide variety of performing styles: they segue from Justin Timberlake to Katy Perry, Kings of Leon, The Killers, Third Eye Blind, Sublime, and more. It might be a tough ask to find a more versatile band in the entire state of Iowa.
Tickets for the Pork Tornadoes' concert start at $10 and are on sale now! Tickets can be purchased online or at Guest Services inside Q Casino. This show is standing room only and you must be 21 to attend. Follow the Pork Tornadoes on Facebook too!
