A New ‘Lego’ Record Has Been Made
As a kid, I loved legos. I could spend hours building buildings, cars and spaceships.
As an adult, I still find myself getting wrapped up playing with them on the floor with my son.
Nowadays, though, I find I'm the one who has to pick them all up from the floor when we're done playing... and don't get me started about stepping on one that was left out on the floor in the middle of the night.
For those of you who are also fans, I see there was a new record broken by some lego-fanatics in Italy.
Apparently they erected a tower at a stunning 115 feet tall, making it the tallest lego structure ever created. It was even certified by the Guinness Book of World Records.
By the numbers, they used over a half-million bricks and took about five days to build it with the help of 18 volunteers.
This record broke the previous tower built last year by a lego store in Budapest.
If you'd like to see what a real lego tower looks like, take a peek!
Happy building!
