Indiana sports has had it made lately... for the most part. Their perennial downtrodden college football team is now a championship program, and a powerhouse in their own right. The Indianapolis Colts are under new ownership. The Indiana Pacers made the NBA Finals last season, and Caitlin Clark mania is about to see another uptick in popularity with the WNBA season starting on May 8th, 2026.

That said, the Pacers have had a lousy season to say the least. After losing their star Tyrese Haliburton in Game 7 of the NBA Finals, the team was bound to plummet in the standings, and plummet they did. They currently own the NBA's worst record at 16-57, not just due to Haliburton's absence, but injuries to a handful of other impactful players. That said, the Pacers faithful got something to smile about this week, for not only was Caitlin Clark in the building, she was also playing an important courtside role.

Caitlin Clark Grabbed a Camera and Got to Work:

Known for her shooting, Caitlin Clark took different shots during the Indiana Pacers game against the Los Angeles Lakers. Donning a vest and Pacers team credentials, Clark assumed the role of one of the team photographers, snapping photos courtside while stationed by a personalized folding seat.

While the Pacers predictably lost to a surging Lakers team by a score of 137-130, it was a competitive matchup, and LeBron James and Luka Doncic being in Indiana definitely put butts in seats. Clark spent the evening taking photos of the action, which were then uploaded to the Indiana Pacers' social media accounts.

With her trademark sly humor, Clark posted on her Twitter in response to the images"I kinda cooked."

Caitlin Clark is Looking for a Bounce-Back Season:

Clark is about to begin her third season with the Indiana Fever after missing most of last season due to injuries. She returned to competitive play this month during the FIBA World Cup Qualifying Tournament. Should Clark return to form, Indiana could make some serious noise as WNBA Finals contenders.
