Growing up, the best my library had was story time for little kids and an old lady that would berate you with shushes for being too loud.

According to a press release from the Carnegie Stout Public Library in Dubuque, November’s music at your library act will be local musician Ty Bailey. Music at the Library is a “First Friday’s” concert series that features local and regional musicians.

Carnegie-Stout Public Library welcomes local musician Ty Bailey for the live concert series at the local library on Friday, November 4th. This event is a free, all-ages show, that is open to the public. It takes place in the third floor Auditorium where Doors open at 5:30pm and the concert begins at 6. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Adults 21 and older are welcome to carry-in their own wine or beer to this event.

Bailey will perform lead vocals and guitar, with Jason Dura on drums, and Stowe Kalchick on bass. This rock and roll trio will deliver a high-energy performance with captivating songs, guitar solos, and soulful vocals. Check out this preview clip from one of their recent performances.
