Each week, the Dubuque Regional Humane Society is highlighting a "Pet of the Week." The Pet of the Week is available to be adopted via the Humane Society. This week, the Dubuque Regional Humane Society is highlighting another amazing four-legged friend.

This week, the Humane Society is highlighting Dozer, a two-and-a-half-year-old dog looking for his forever home/family. At 76 pounds, Dozer is energetic, athletic, and would love to live in a home that complements and encourages his enthusiasm. Make no mistake, however. Dozer is a cuddly boy at his core whose manners are improving thanks to coaching.

Receptive to obedience work and great on a leash, Dozer is a big fan of walks and would thrive best in a home with older children. He also does well with dogs that are tolerant and of a similar size to him.

Dozer has been receiving training from That's My Dog, which has helped him work on his manners over the last few months. He's been learning a variety of commands too, so if you come to the Dubuque Regional Humane Society to visit him, he'll be happy to show off all he's learned.
