Each week, the Dubuque Regional Humane Society is highlighting a "Pet of the Week." The Pet of the Week is available to be adopted via the Humane Society. This week, the Dubuque Regional Humane Society is highlighting another amazing four-legged friend.

This week, the Humane Society is highlighting Lucy, a 10-month-old puppy who is searching for her forever family. She is 63 pounds and full of energy, with a propensity to run around and play as much as possible. With that in mind, an active household would be the perfect match for her.

Lucy is a dog who loves other dogs, with a contagious energy level and a very excitable play-style. That being said, she's not a fan of cats, so if there are other animals in your home, they'll have to be dogs for Lucy to be an ideal match.

Bear in mind that Lucy is still a puppy, so her manners are a work in progress. That said, the Dubuque Regional Humane Society bills her as a "very intelligent" dog, who is picking up on new commands and learning the ropes very quickly. She's goofy and fun-loving, and she can't wait to be out of the shelter and in her forever home.
