A Precious Kitty Named Dumbo 'Kneads' a Loving Human

Each week, the Dubuque Regional Humane Society is highlighting a "Pet of the Week." The Pet of the Week is available to be adopted via the Humane Society. This week, the Dubuque Regional Humane Society is highlighting another amazing four-legged friend.

This week, the Humane Society is highlighting Dumbo, a one-year-old kitty whose ears have yet to grow into his cute, tiny head. If your someone who believes cats can be standoffish and aloof, this sweet little bundle of joy will change your mind.

Dumbo "Kneads" His Forever Human:

If you're in the business for pastries, Dumbo will make sure to keep you supplied with biscuits. For cats, kneading — the act of taking both of their paws and pushing them in and out on blankets or their humans — is a relaxation tactic that is often compared to the practice of making bread, hence the term "making biscuits." Dumbo will show you he is a very good baker in no time.

He is also one for a lap-nap, and has a proclivity for being silly and active, as is the case with many kittens. He's a curious kitty too, very interested in the world around him, so you'll likely see him exploring new surroundings and trying to figure out the areas in which he finds himself. If you have string toys, Dumbo will happily participate in a play session as well!
