'Pet of the Week' Otis is Ready to Enjoy Long Walks and Sunshine

Each week, the Dubuque Regional Humane Society is highlighting a "Pet of the Week." The Pet of the Week is available to be adopted via the Humane Society. This week, the Dubuque Regional Humane Society is highlighting another amazing four-legged friend.

This week, the Humane Society is highlighting Otis, a handsome, six-year-old pup. Otis loves long walks and exercise, sunshine, bath-time, and spending time with his favorite humans!

While Otis has lived with other dogs in the past, he can be selective about his canine friends. The Dubuque Regional Humane Society states that he has done "ok" with lower-energy dogs in playgroup settings, so he'd probably do best as the star of the show in your home.

Otis also knows a few commands, including "sit" and "paw," and has been practicing his leash manners with Humane Society volunteers. Like any good boy, Otis loves treats and they've proven effective as a bonding tool. While he might be six-years-old, he would be best served in a family that would allow him to grow into the mannered good boy that lives inside of him.
