This 'Bear' in Dubuque is Cuddly, Sweet, and Your Pet of the Week

Each week, the Dubuque Regional Humane Society is highlighting a "Pet of the Week." The Pet of the Week is available to be adopted via the Humane Society. This week, the Dubuque Regional Humane Society is highlighting another amazing four-legged friend.

This week, the Humane Society is highlighting Bear, a four-year-old, 50-pound pup who is sweet and cuddly once you get to know her. She does well with other gentle, easygoing dogs, so if she must have roommates, those are the ones with which she'll thrive.

Bear is Looking for a Patient Family:

Bear is looking for a patient family that will allow her to be herself and one willing to build trust at her pace. She is a dog that values connection, and once you earn her trust, her cuddly, silly, and sweet self will emerge.

That being said, Bear can be uncomfortable during vet visits, and requires a muzzle to help keep everyone safe. She is prone to fussiness in such environments, so experienced dog owners might be the best fit for Bear and her needs. Again, once she bonds with you, she's an incredibly loving companion.
