Chance the Rapper's child support case has come to a close, and lawyers for both sides say that the deal was amicable, with both Chance and the mother of his daughter, Kirsten Corley, putting the welfare of their daughter, Kensli, first.

“The parties have reached a full agreement. The case is concluded. I’m going to give major credit to Chance and Kirsten for working together to reach a deal that’s fair for their daughter, fair for them both,” said Tanya Stanish, one of Chance's lawyers, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.

According to the report Corley was seeking child support that would cover furnishing a home and a car for transporting their daughter, as Chance and Corley currently live together but have decided to apart.

"This case ended quickly because of the unusually high level of cooperation between the parents putting their child's best interest first," Corley's attorney, Enrico Mirabelli, told the Chicago Tribune.

Chance told Complex in a recent cover story that he was considering moving back in with his parents.

"I'm in a unique position, but a lot of the things you would think you would get past, because of the quote-unquote successes that I've had, I'm honestly in real life thinking about moving in with my parents right now," he said. "A lot of other people, if they were in my situation, if they were 23 and had a kid for the first time and were working, they would find comfort in staying with their parents if their parents were willing. I guess that's what it all comes down to."
