If you’re looking to get into the holiday spirit, Senior High School will surely do it with their annual event coming up on Friday and Saturday, December 12th and 13th.

The Madrigal Christmas dinner was started 35 years ago by Dan Nye in association with the Dubuque Masonic Temple.

Not only does it provide an opportunity for music students to showcase their talents and come together for a fun project, but it also allows Senior High School to promote themselves and the music department to the community.

The Madrigal dinner features over 75 music students including the madrigal brass, flutes, strings, carolers and the madrigal singers.

Hors D’oeuvres start at 6pm each night with dinner seating starting at 6:30pm.  Dinner includes a 6-course candle-lit dinner catered by Life’s A Feast Catering.  You’ll enjoy broccoli cheddar soup, a mixed greens salad with red onion and bacon vinaigrette, braised pork shank with garlic mashed potatoes and a chocolate cream tart for dessert.

Tempted yet?  Tickets are just $30 and available through December 10th by calling Dubuque Senior High School at 563-552-5500 or by CLICKING THIS LINK.

TICKETS WILL NOT BE SOLD AT THE DOOR!

This would be a great gift for any family, friend or co-worker and an amazing tradition to start with your family.

Special thanks to Premier Bank, Plane Art Design, The Dubuque Music Men, Gordon’s Toggery and Hy-Vee on Dodge for making this year’s event possible.

Enjoy the show… happy holidays!
