Y105’s Player of the Week

This week's Player of the Week is Alex Ward - a freshman at Hempstead High School. Alex was the Offensive Player of the Year on the football team and was also nominated for Defensive Player of the Year.

Along with his success on the gridiron, Alex is also a decorated wrestler who will be a member of the Mustang's varsity wrestling team. In fact, Alex is already a four-time state champion!

With the Player of the Week award, we like to reward athletes who succeed outside of sports and, by all accounts, Alex is certainly doing that as well. It's because of this that Alex Ward is this week's Player of the Week!
