This Week’s ‘Player of the Week’

We've teamed up with Long Shot Sports at 201 South Main Street in Galena, IL to highlight a high school athlete in the Tri-States for their accomplishments on AND off the field. Each week we'll feature a different student athlete and award him/her with a $20 gift certificate to Long Shot Sports.

This week's Player of the Week is Ryon Foley who is a junior at Galena High School and is the starting Center on their varsity football team - which he has been a member of since his freshman year! In addition to being a good player at a position that rarely gets enough credit and accolades, Ryon maintains good grades.

As if being a high-level student athlete wasn't keeping him busy enough, Ryon also works for a trucking company in Kieler, WI. There's no doubt Ryon has had to make sacrifices in his personal life to make all of this happen.
