Bell Tower Theater Bringing Intoxicatingly Funny Play to Dubuque

The Bell Tower Theater in Dubuque, IA is set to start its engagement of an intoxicatingly funny play, which serves as a sequel to a play the theater performed back in 2014. However, you do not need to have any familiarity with the events of the first installment to enjoy this one!

Drinking Habits 2 starts its run at the Bell Tower Theater on Friday, October 13th and runs through October 29th. With multiple days to see the show, including two matinee times, it's poised to be a fun way to start the fall entertainment season in the area!

Miki Robinson of Bell Tower Theater stopped by the studio to talk everything Drinking Habits 2, other upcoming shows, and 2024 season tickets, which are available now:

The Sisters of Perpetual Sewing pine for the excitement of the past when their secret wine making was saving the convent and bringing lost loves back together. When they discover that the local orphanage is in peril of closing, they resolve to act. Everyone pitches in to mount a play to raise money and hilarious hijinks ensue. Anything that can go wrong does. Can the sisters save the day again? - the plot of Drinking Habits 2, per Bell Tower Theater's website

There are various opportunities to catch Drinking Habits 2 at the Bell Tower Theater over the next couple weeks, although opening weekend has already sold out:

• Thursdays at 7:30pm: October 19th + 26th
• Fridays at 7:30pm: October 13th (sold out), 20th, and 27th
• Saturdays at 2pm: October 28th
• Saturday at 7:30pm: October 14th (sold out), 21st
• Sundays at 2pm: October 15th, 22nd, and 29th

In addition to Drinking Habits 2, the Bell Tower Theater will also welcome back GIT Improv, a Quad Cities-based improvisational comedy group, on November 4th, as well as A Double Wide Texas Christmas, which is set to begin its multi-week run on December 1st.
