Dubuque's premier Irish musical festival is set to return this Saturday, August 23rd, bring food, live music, dancing, and fun all in the name of celebrating the spirit of the Irish!

The 20th Annual Irish Hooley is happening at the Port of Dubuque, specifically the Dubuque Star Brewery and the Alliant Amphitheater. Kicking off at 11am, the day-long music festival features a number of bands playing traditional Irish music as well as numerous food trucks from the Tri-State area serving up delicious eats!

What is the Irish Hooley?:

Jordan Larkin of the Irish Hooley stopped by to talk about all that is happening at the Port of Dubuque that Saturday, and talked about how the event is equal parts a celebration of Irish culture as well as music.

The Irish Hooley is one big celebration of Irish traditions: dancing, singing, music, friends, community, and family are all represented by a litany of different individuals who do their part to put on a memorable show.

Advanced tickets for the 20th Annual Irish Hooley are only $15, and available to purchase at the following establishments:

Tickets can be purchased at the gate on the day of the event for $20. Kids age 10 and under get in for free.
