Pals Fake Proposal to Get Scrumptious Free Dessert
It wasn't an April Fool's Day joke, but it sure was a terrific prank.
Best friends Cati Domitrovich, 19, and Alex Nagle, 17 pulled off a stunt that you just know you'd never have the nerve to try.
When Domitrovich went to the bathroom, Nagle told their server that he was going to pop the question and asked if she would snap some pictures. The con was on.
"Everyone believed us and everyone clapped," she told BuzzFeed.
The concept of free food is so alluring that the Twttersphere couldn't help but chime in with its thoughts on the scam the "engaged" couple from Texas successfully pulled off.
Domitrovich herself asked all the critics to keep matters in perspective. What do you think? Was this genius or immoral?
