Mark Gordon is the General Manager for Sundown Mountain Resort... and
has to be one of the coolest dudes I've ever met.

I'm not kissing up at all. While most business folks are concerned with their bottom line and making money, Mark seems to only care about his customers and that they're having the best experience possible.

Case in point, this weekends event called "Music on the Mountain."

While most first year events start small, Sundown has pulled out all the stops by hosting a huge, one-day festival. They'll have it all... food trucks, live music and stuff for the kids.

First, the music. Gates will open at 9:30am and the tunes start at 10am. You'll hear Catfish Murphy, The Struggle, Broken Rubber Band and Laura and Robbie & The Barflys.

Beer and food trucks will have refreshments available for purchase, and include Magoo's Pizza, Buenie Bottoms Outdoor Grill, Vesperman Farms Ice Cream Truck and Hot Diggity Dogz.

There's going to be a car and motorcycle show and a skate and bike jam presented by Olliewood Action Sports.

For the kids, you can enjoy inflatables, a scavenger hunt and smores on the hillside. They can also hike down the mountain and take a beautiful chairlift ride back to the top. (That should be enough stuff to poop them out by the end of the day!)

Right now the forecast says sunny and less humid with a high of 88, so it should be a perfect day to enjoy with the whole family at Sundown Mountain Resort.

See you Saturday!
