Dallas County Sheriff’s Office in Iowa Arrests ‘The Grinch’ on Christmas Eve
If you live in Iowa, and you and your family had a fun Christmas, with all your presents under the tree, not one of them missing, you can thank the Dallas County Sheriff's Office for assuring the holiday went off without a hitch.
In doing their part to keep Christmas safe, the sheriff's office announced via Facebook that they booked the Grinch into the Dallas County Jail on the morning of Christmas Eve. The now widely circulated booking photo shows the Grinch with his dog Max under arrest for the theft of Christmas presents.
Multiple sources, as well as the jail's website, lists the suspect's name as "Ethan Toothstain Grinch" of Whoville.
Per the aforementioned Facebook post, the Dallas County Sheriff's Office said it received a call about a "highly suspicious sleigh sighting," which led to the team effort amongst deputies to arrest Mr. Grinch and his accomplice, Max. The two rascals were in the process of stealing Christmas presents when apprehended, but it appears that the presents were returned to their rightful recipients in time for Christmas Day.
"Rest assured, Christmas is officially SAVED!," the Dallas County Sheriff's Office proudly proclaimed on Facebook.
