One of the ways in which some people get the attention of big companies online is by tweeting them incessantly with some kind of demand. Some are downright hostile in their approach. Others are gentler, and it's those who get their wishes rewarded as well as some unexpected viral attention.

A local Iowa man named Mark Garman loved a specific variety of Jack's Pizza so much that he took it upon himself to get the company's attention. Day after day after day. He took it upon himself to tweet the beloved frozen pizza brand in hopes of bringing back a limited edition variant of their thin-crusted pie that he loved so much.

For 276 consecutive days, Mark Garman tweeted Jack's Pizza with one request: bring back their limited edition bacon cheeseburger pizza. The thin-crust pizza is made with 100% real cheddar and mozzarella cheese, hamburger, bacon, and pork belly. You can make it in the oven or even on the grill.

So, Garman took it upon himself to try to get Jack's Pizza's attention every day. The tweets themselves were succinct and to-the-point, structured like "Day 'x' of tweeting @JacksPizza until they bring back bacon cheeseburger." It takes a certain level of memory and dedication to continue to do that for over 75% of a calendar year, but Garman proved determined.

His determination proved successful, for after tweeting on the 276th day, Jack's Pizza responded to Garman and hooked him up big. Not only did they send him some Jack's swag (I suddenly really want a Jack's Pizza shirt and jacket), but they also sent him a cooler filled with several bacon cheeseburger pizzas. A small red banner on the pizzas proudly declares "IT'S BACK!"

Jack's Pizza needs no introduction. I'd wager nine in every 10 people have tried one. I always have a few in my freezer for those lazy nights where I don't want to put too much effort into dinner, or don't feel like paying the money to order a pizza. Jack's Pizza is remarkably consistent: you can control its level of crispiness fairly easily as it cooks in the oven, and there's always ample sausage and pepperoni on the respective varieties.

That said, Dave Portnoy, Barstool Sports founder and host of the popular "One Bite Pizza Reviews" series, is no fan of Jack's Pizza. The company refused to send him a pizza to review, so he took it upon himself to retrieve one himself for a "completely unbiased review."
