Grammy-Winning Singer-Songwriter to Perform at Q Casino’s Back Waters Stage

To end the month of January, Q Casino made the announcement that rapper/singer-songwriter Upchurch would be one of several artists slated to perform on the Back Waters Stage during the 2024 Summer Concert Series. It was the first concert announcement of the year, and it not only generated excitement, but also subconsciously signaled to people that more will be coming.

Low and behold, Q Casino has just announced today that Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Jason Isbell will be performing on the Back Waters Stage this summer! Isbell will be coming to Dubuque along with his band, The 400 Unit, with special guest Shemekia Copeland performing as well.

Brian Rakestraw, Chief Operating and Financial Officer at Q Casino, commented via a press release from Q Casino about how the excitement Isbell's show will bring to another summer chockful of live music in the Tri-States:

Isbell will be performing on the Back Waters Stage on Friday, August 9th, 2024. Gates open at 6:30pm with the show set to commence at 8pm. Tickets will go on sale this Friday, March 8th, 2024 at 10am ($59.99 for general admission; $79.99 for Turpin Tailgate).
