Julia Michaels Gets a Playful Kind of Shook in ‘Uh Huh’ Video

Julia Michaels is continuing her poppy, peppy and undeniably personal ride to the top of the game with her new video for "Uh Huh" and a nomination for the VMA Best New Artist award on the same day.

"Uh Huh" opens with Michaels and a presumed (ex?) boyfriend each trading tidbits of their love life, with a special focus on what looks like a tattoo — or at least a very neatly written line — that reads "I love you." The mood doesn't stay serious for long, though. Between dramatically lit close-ups, playfully teasing paired shots and a sudden outfit swap, Michaels and her beau seem to have a great time letting their emotions "go in for the kill."
