Kwik Stop in Dubuque Announces Charity Partners for 2026
The largest, locally owned chain of convenience stores, Kwik Stop, has announced their 2026 slate of charity partners for their Kwik Care program.
Since 2002, Kwik Stop and Dairy Queen customers have been a driving force for change in Dubuque and the Tri-States as a whole. Each month, a new organization is selected as the "Kwik Care recipient." For the entire month, customers at those respective businesses can donate to said nonprofit with ease. Cumulatively, Kwik Care has raised over $2.2 million.

How Kwik Stop Helps Nonprofits in Dubuque:
Earlier in the fall, Kwik Stop announced they were seeking nonprofit organizations to be their "Kwik Care Neighborhood Change" partner for one month in the new year. During an organization's designated month, 100% of the money collected from Kwik Care Neighborhood Change canisters is donated to that respective nonprofit.
Neighborhood Change canisters are located at all Kwik Stop and Dairy Queen registers. Customers can also "round-up" their total at the register if they're not paying for their transaction with cash; they can also convert points to a donation via the free Kwik Stop Rewards App.

Kwik Stop/Rainbo Oil Vice President of Operations Tessa Anderson spoke about the volume of applicants that apply to be selected as part of the Kwik Care Neighborhood Change program every year, as well as the importance of the company helping organizations of all kinds:
Kwik Stop and Dairy Queen are locally owned, community focused, and we’re proud to be in your neighborhood helping to raise awareness for non-profit organizations in Dubuque and the tri-states. We received 63 applications to review. Narrowing down a very large and deserving group to our 2026 calendar was no easy task. Dubuque and the tri-state area is home to several outstanding non-profit organizations that are all doing important things right here. Each year we are honored to learn about what these groups are doing through our application process. We are excited to partner with the selected 12 throughout the next year - Kwik Stop/Rainbo Oil Vice President of Operations Tessa Anderson, per a press release
