Luke Combs is Performing in Iowa in 2026

Following a weeklong countdown that led to much speculation and anticipation, country superstar Luke Combs has dropped his 2026 tour dates. And Iowa is on the list of stops!

Combs has sporadically performed in Iowa over the last few years. Most recently, he was part of the Hy-Vee IndyCar Races at the Iowa Speedway in 2024. Prior to that, he took the stage at the Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines in 2019. It's been a minute since he's put on a full-blown concert for his loyal Iowa fans, and 2026 is set to mark his return.

Luke Combs Set to Take Ames, IA By Storm:

It was confirmed this week that Luke Combs will be performing at Jack Trice Stadium in Ames, IA on Saturday, April 11th, 2026. The "Beer Never Broke My Heart" country singer will be bringing his "My Kinda Saturday Night" Tour to the Hawkeye State, a fitting theme that coincides with the release of his latest single, "Back in the Saddle," and the promise to fans that he's returning to his loud, rollicking country sound for his upcoming album.

Combs' music has took on a quieter, more reflective personality with the birth of his son, Tex. His latest album, Fathers & Sons, was a concept record that channeled the feelings of being a new dad whilst remembering the lessons his father and grandfather instilled in him from a very young age. Among many highlights on the album was "Take Me Out to the Ballgame," a song that makes my eyes well with tears within seconds of it starting.

This year has been awesome. We’ve gotten to play some of the most iconic festivals in the world and promote country music in ways that it normally isn’t. That said, while the festivals are awesome, there’s nothing like a headline show on a full tour with all of my fans. It’s hard to beat! Tickets for Luke Combs' show at Jack Trice Stadium in Ames, IA will be available for presale starting next week, on Wednesday, October 15th at 10am (CST). General on-sale will follow on Friday, October 17th at 10am (CST), per Iowa State University's website.
