When the 'Sopranos' went off the air in 2007, many of it's cast members seemed to disappear into obscurity.

While the shows star, James Gandolfini, who played the main character, Tony Soprano continued to have box office success until his death in 2013, many of the folks from the show have all but disappeared from our little and big screens.

Steve Schirripa, who played Bobby 'Bacala' Baccalieri, has actually stayed quite busy.

While Steve continues to act, he's also hosted a few different shows on the Cooking Channel including Steve Schirripa's 'Hungry.'  As if that's not enough, he's also taken the time to publish a book and is a best-selling author.

Steve's latest venture is called Uncle Steve's Italian Specialties.

It's an organic line of traditional Italian pasta sauces made with fresh tomatoes and is gluten free, non-FMO and Kosher certified.

Talking with Steve this morning, I could tell he was really proud of the sauces, especially since it comes from his mother's recipe.

I asked if he helps make the sauce and he could only laugh.  He told me he doesn't actually cook, he just eats!

He also dropped a few pearls of wisdom on me, including "never trust a skinny chef or a bald barber."  (I got a few chuckles from that and his thick Brooklyn accent.)

I understand most people are used to picking up a jar of Rago, but Steve is really urging you to try his sauce as there are no preservatives... just the good stuff.

It was great catching up with Steve.  If you'd like to read more about his sauces or to order, visit the UNCLE STEVE'S ITALIAN SPECIALTIES WEBSITE.

Ohhhhhh!  Fu-get about it!
