These are the Most Popular Gift Cards in Iowa

A new study from Giftwhale, an online wishlist platform, looked at some of the most popular gift card brands across America. In their findings, they managed to source and specify the top five most popular gift card brands in Iowa as well.

Giftwhale's methodology analyzed Google search data over the past 12 months to determine the most popular gift cards across every state. Google Keyword Planner was also used to analyze the data and compile the rankings as a whole.

A new study by online wishlist platform Giftwhale has identified Vanilla as Iowa's most popular gift card brand, recording over 4,700 monthly searches.

The Most Popular Gift Card in Iowa:

The most popular gift card in Iowa proved to be Vanilla. This makes a lot of sense when you think about it. Vanilla's prepaid gift cards are accepted just like credit cards, and make great gifts because they're not specific to a retailer. You can use them anywhere, just like a debit card, making them extremely versatile.

Vanilla gift cards racked up 4,710 average monthly searches, per Giftwhale's research.

Two Other Hugely Popular Gift Cards in Iowa:

Roblox, a gaming platform, gift cards took second place in Iowa with 4,072 monthly searches. These cards allow recipients to purchase "Robux," which is the in-game currency, so they're ideal gifts for young people and gamers alike. Shockingly, Roblox gift cards beat out Visa gift cards, which still managed to total 3,773 monthly searches.

Like Vanilla cards, Visa gift cards are versatile and non-retailer specific. They are accepted virtually everywhere credit cards are accepted.
