March Madness 2017 is a month-long competition on PopCrush to determine the best of the best of South Korean boy bands and girl groups.

This round is now over! Vote for SUPER JUNIOR in the semi-finals here!

The battle begins today between NCT 127 and SUPER JUNIOR, one new act versus long-establish icons on the K-pop scene now going head-to-head in the first round of PopCrush's 2017 March Madness series.

NCT 127 made their debut in July of 2016 with their self-titled EP, which ended up winning them the Rookie of the Year award at this year's Gaon Chart K-Pop Awards. And their brand is expanding internationally: they're currently scheduled to perform at KCON Mexico this month.

SUPER JUNIOR, which first debuted well over a decade ago, recently revealed that they're working on a new album, and are planning to make a major comeback at the end of 2017. Their last effort, Devil, was released in 2015 — so it's more than time for their return.

The battle starts now: place your vote between NCT 127 and SUPER JUNIOR. This round ends on March 10.
