A Noodles & Company Restaurant is Coming to Dubuque

A popular noodle chain restaurant is coming to Dubuque, and could be here by early next year, per the Telegraph Herald.

A representative with Noodles & Company confirmed to the Telegraph Herald via email that the beloved eatery will be opening a restaurant in Dubuque. The franchise location will be at 800 Wacker Plaza, which was home to Caribou Coffee until April 2023.

Noodles & Company Communications Manager Brian Anderson didn't give an exact date for when the eatery will open in the Wacker Plaza location, but he did suggest it could be sooner rather than later:

We are excited to be growing our footprint with a new location in Dubuque. While it is still too early to share an exact date, we are aiming for later this year or early 2024 (for opening). - per the Telegraph Herald

Noodles & Company franchises ordinarily employ anywhere from 25 to 30 people. Job postings for the Dubuque location are already live on LinkedIn for an assistant general manager as well as a restaurant shift manager.

With Dubuque's Noodles & Company set to open in the former Caribou Coffee location, there is also expected to be a pickup window, which would encourage consumers to order through the app or website and retrieve their food with ease.

Noodles & Company currently has nine locations in Iowa, per their website:

West Des Moines

The chain was founded in Denver in 1995, and has since expanded to over 450 restaurants across 26 states. 58 of those locations are in Illinois with another 55 in Wisconsin. I had a Noodles & Company by my college, and would eat there a couple times a month as a treat, particularly during stressful finals week. I'm a simple soul. My go-to was always the buttered noodles with Italian seasonings.

Noodles & Company's menu has a wide variety of pasta dishes, including Penne Rosa, Tortellini, Pasta Fresca, and simple comfort offerings like spaghetti and meatballs.
