Don't blink: Jackass 3D is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year. This weekend, in theaters across the country, the third film in the long-running Jackass film franchise will be playing once again in RealD 3D. The move also coincides with "National Pain Awareness Month." How clever is that?

Funnily enough, one of the stars of Jackass made a pit-stop at a suburban Chicago brewery this week to sample some of its offerings. The acclaimed brewpub and eatery took to Facebook to announce that a mainstay of the series since it began as a humble MTV show was in the house.

Noon Whistle Brewing in Lombard took to Facebook to announce that Preston Lacy stopped by for what appeared to be an appetizer. Noon Whistle is an acclaimed brewery that has something of a trippy take on craft beer. Their offerings include everything from IPAs and Pale Ales to Berline Weiss, Hefeweizen, and lagers, just to name a few.

For Jackass fans, Preston Lacy needs no introduction. His time with the series goes all the way back to the MTV show, where he served as a writer. In the four Jackass movies, Lacy is often seen performing alongside Jason "Wee Man" Acuña, most notably when Lacy (typically wearing nothing other than underwear and a tank top) chases the diminutive Wee Man through crowded city streets.

I've always thought Lacy was underrated, and I have long empathized with his extreme fear of heights.

Noon Whistle gave Lacy some love for stopping by their Lombard brewpub, located at 800 E. Roosevelt Road:

Stoked to get a visit last night from the magical pain fairy @realprestonlacy we are glad to see you doing well and hope you had a blast at the Lombard Brewpub! - per Noon Whistle Brewing's Facebook page

Again, Jackass 3D is back in theaters celebrating its 15th anniversary (feel old yet?) this weekend and thru next week. I'll be catching it at AMC Classic Dubuque 14 very soon!
