The "most elevated table" in Dubuque will soon be opening its doors later this spring, and it will not only be an upscale dining option for those in the community, but it will be another milestone in a venue's sweeping upgrades.

Q Casino + Resort took to Facebook yesterday to announce the imminent opening of their new rooftop restaurant and bar. Lock 11 Rooftop Restaurant and Bar will sit atop the newly erected Key Hotel Dubuque adjacent to the casino, and feature an expansive dining room, an indoor lounge, and private dining areas, per Telegraph Herald.

What to Expect from Lock 11:

Lock 11 is part of Q Casino + Resort's $115 million investment to enhance the guest experience and expand amenities in the casino and surrounding areas. The restaurant will feature "elevated small plates, chef-driven seasonal specialties and shareable dishes inspired by Midwestern ingredients and global flavors," per Telegraph Herald. The name likely comes from the city's Lock and Dam No. 11.

A website has been launched, and a specific menu is expecting to drop ahead of the eatery's May opening.
