In a year that has seen Q Casino welcome massive artists like Jelly Roll and Halestorm to their Back Waters Stage, and are undergoing $75 million in renovations, 2023 continues to show immense strides for one of the premier destinations for gambling, food, and fun in Dubuque and the Tri-States.

On September 19th, 2023, Q Casino announced new details regarding their preferred partnership with Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, NV, per a press release. Effective immediately, members of Q Casino's growing loyalty and player development programs will now have access to expanded benefits when visiting Palms.

This partnership between Q Casino and Palms Casino Resort is furthered strengthened by the Dubuque Regional Airport and Avelo Airlines implementing flights from Dubuque to Las Vegas just several days ago. Nonstop and discounted flights between Dubuque and Las Vegas began on September 13th, 2023.

Stacy Kansky, Q Casino's Chief Commercial Officer, commented on the new partnership via press release:

We are thrilled to align with Palms Casino Resort, where our players can experience the ultimate Las Vegas experience, as well as these new flights, which we hope are the start of restored air service to and from Dubuque. Current Q Casino loyalty club members will be able to enjoy great promotions and opportunities right away. It also gives new players and those in our player development program more benefits to look forward to as well.

This new partnership between Q Casino and Palms Casino Resort comes with some serious benefits for Q Casino loyalty program members (based on qualifying criteria):

  • Access to VIP Group Trips, which can include a cocktail reception and/or dinner on one or more nights, possibly in conjunction with an event or game
  • Certificates Events where top players can earn trips for a complimentary Palms-Las Vegas getaway
  • Annual Trip Benefit program, whereby players can earn one trip per year to Palms-Las Vegas based on their tier status at Q Casino
  • Cross-property offers and promotions
  • Special Palms Experience promotions
  • VIP Services

The expansion of our partnership with Q Casino offers a way for us to help them develop a more robust loyalty program for their customers, but also attract new players to our property. We hope this partnership will provide great hospitality opportunities for people visiting from Dubuque, and maybe even for people from Las Vegas wanting to explore a historic Iowa city on the Mississippi River for something different. - Jennifer Johnson, Vice President of Marketing at Palms Casino Resort

When it comes to Palms Casino Resort, it is making history as the first resort in Las Vegas that is fully owned and operated by a Native American Tribe. It is seen for miles thanks to its two distinct towers with over 750 hotel rooms and suites, which also house a plethora of bars, restaurants, live entertainment venues, and immersive lifestyle experiences across a 95,000-square-foot casino.

In addition, Palms also offers a 2,500-seat theater known as the Pearl, a huge pool, The Spa & Salon at Palms, a wedding chapel, a 14-screen theater, and nearly 600 condominiums.

To reiterate, this partnership comes at a tremendous time for Dubuque, as those looking for a vacation now have the option of flying from the Dubuque Regional Airport to Las Vegas (specifically Harry Reid International Airport) via Avelo Airlines in Dubuque.

In effort to celebrate this enhanced partnership, both Q Casino and Palms Casino Resort, along with Avelo Airlines, are teaming up to offer a Palms Casino Resort Las Vegas Trip Giveaway for eligible Q Casino Loyalty Program members. In addition, Palms Casino Resort VIP Trip Certificate opportunities will also be made available to eligible Q Casino players in October.
