This weekend, my girlfriend, Catherine, and I planned to go bowling. Coincidentally, we watched an episode of Bar Rescue, one of our favorite shows, where Jon Taffer visited an Albuquerque-based bowling alley that needed a complete makeover (mainly in regard to the owner's attitude).

Taffer stated how modern bowling alleys have to be more than just centers for the game itself; they need to be all-encompassing entertainment centers with quality food and drinks, an arcade, and other accommodations in order to stand out.

Round Two in Peosta, IA qualifies as an entertainment center. Opening in 2020, this is a world-class establishment, boasting 12 bowling lanes, a redemption arcade, a full-service bar, lunch and dinner menus, a dining room, a party room, and a huge outdoor patio. It is perfect for leagues, kids parties, dates, and even worth solely stopping in to enjoy the delicious food and drinks.

Located off of Commercial Court in Peosta, an area that has already seen a ton of development in the very recent future, Round Two made for a fun afternoon for us both. We reserved a lane for an hour, managed to get in three games of bowling during that time, sat down to enjoy some drinks and two excellent pizzas, and ended the day with a trip to their arcade room.

This is a story best told with photos, so scroll down to take a look at our fun-filled afternoon. We both cannot recommend Round Two enough. Give them a "Like" on Facebook, and keep them in mind for the next outing with your children or your next date night out!

Round Two is located at 8412 Commercial Court in Peosta.
