A Juicy New Store is Opening in Dubuque This Spring

In recent weeks, Dubuque has been bustling with news of new businesses coming to the area. HomeGoods was confirmed to be coming to Kennedy Mall very soon, and Daily Thread, a clothing store, recently opened as well. This week, another juicy development was announced, as Dubuque will be getting a delicious new business later this spring!

Nekter Juice Bar will be coming to Dubuque in May 2023. The location will be a suite inside a newly constructed building at 3415 Stoneman Road, near Kennedy Mall, per Telegraph Herald's Big Buzz. Nekter will be housed inside an 1,800-square-foot suite near Green State Credit Union.

Nekter Juice Bar's menu features a variety of handcrafted bowls, including Acai Banana Berry and Dragon Fruit, as well as smoothies such as Pineapple Matcha, PB Mocha, and Strawberry Banana Protein. At a time when people are more health-conscious then ever, Nekter looks to provide those nutritious options for Tri-Staters.

Nekter is the first business to be officially announced in the new space. The location will offer both indoor and outdoor seating, and owner Nikki Mulligan told the Telegraph Herald that she plans to hire 10 people to work at the establishment.

Nekter's entrance into Dubuque comes at a pivotal time in that region, where Kennedy Mall is seeing an influx of stores moving in coupled with the recent construction in the area. Mulligan spoke of her excitement:

We're excited for the location. I love the great visibility [off of John F. Kennedy Road] as well.
