Bell Tower Theater Launches New Farce and a New Website
It's nice to rein in a new season and (hopefully) warmer weather in with some laughs, and the latest production at Bell Tower Theater looks to do just that with a golf-centric farce filled with zany characters and sticky situations.
Ken Ludwig's A Fox on the Fairway will be running at Bell Tower Theater from April 21st through May 7th, 2023. You don't need to know thing one about golf nor have any vested interest in the sport to laugh at the camaraderie that will unfold over the course of two humorous hours.
When two rival country clubs get involved in the golf tournament of the decade, things go from bad to worse! Enjoy the fun as these zany characters do whatever it takes to save face, win their bets and get their love lives in order. - the plot of A Fox on the Fairway, per Bell Tower Theater's website
As she does whenever there is a show at the Bell Tower Theater, Miki Robinson stopped by to talk about A Fox on the Fairway, as well as some other events that will be taking place at the theater as summer gets closer:
We're less than a month away from the auditions for our youth musical. So, kids ages seven to 18 can audition to be a part of the cast or sign up to be a part of the crew of Cinderella, and that's gonna be May 19th and 20th [for auditions and crew sign-up]. And our high school kids are in rehearsal already for Godspell [....] we have a great group of kids and they're awesome.
Godspell will be running at Bell Tower Theater from June 15th to June 25th, 2023.
When you go to buy tickets, you'll notice the Bell Tower Theater has a slick and gorgeous new website, thanks to the grants bestowed by the DRA. The money was a massive help in getting the theater a beautiful and functional new site!
You can still get tickets to one of the upcoming performances for A Fox on the Fairway, but you should act quickly, as it's proven to be a very popular sell! For more details on the show and all things Bell Tower Theater, take a listen to my interview with Miki Robinson!
