I vividly remember being a senior in high school trying to juggle learning about colleges, applying to them, all finding one that suited my field of studies, all while trying to pass my final classes in high school that would assure I'd get into college in the first place. It's a challenging time for high schoolers, but the process is made easier thanks to Dubuque College Visit Week.

What is Dubuque College Visit Week?:

Organized by Northeast Iowa Community College (NICC) in partnership with Dubuque's other four colleges, Dubuque College Visit Week runs from August 7th - 11th. Its ethos is simple: getting prospective students familiar with several higher education institutions right here in there region:

In partnership with Dubuque's four other colleges, we are offering in-person campus visits during Dubuque College Visit Week August 7-11, 2023. Our community is fortunate to offer students a diverse choice of higher education opportunities. Register for the Dubuque College Visit Week and we will contact you to set up a day and time for your visit. During your 1 hour visit, we can tour campus, discuss your educational goals, financial aid, admissions process, career outlook, earning potential and more.

I spoke with representatives from all five schools (University of Dubuque, Northeast Iowa Community College, Loras College, Clarke University, and Emmaus Bible College), and got great insights into all of them in the process. You'll find some general information about each of the schools below, as well as my interviews with individuals from each respective school!
