Each week, the Dubuque Regional Humane Society is highlighting a "Pet of the Week." The Pet of the Week is available to be adopted via the Humane Society. This week, the Dubuque Regional Humane Society is highlighting another amazing four-legged friend.

This week, the Dubuque Regional Humane Society is highlighting Goldie, an adorable orange-and-white cat (my eternal weakness), who is two-and-a-half pounds and weighs approximately 10 pounds.

Goldie has called the Humane Society home since the end of February, when he arrived as a stray. His orange-and-white fur recalls Simba from The Lion King, and the photos of him indicate his playful side. He's a very loving boy, who craves attention on his own terms. Anyone familiar with orange cats (or even half-orange cats) know the personality type.

Among Goldie's favorite activities is playing with dangly toys, swatting them and engaging in lively cat behavior. He would be a perfect, loving companion if your apartment or home is in need of some affection only a cat can deliver.

At this time, Goldie's adoption fees have been lowered to just $25, making him a real bargain if you choose to welcome him into your home at this time.
