We stayed pretty productive at our house over the weekend.

I did the dishes, organized the garage a bit and then we spent the afternoon putting up a basketball hoop.

We had a hoop with a weighted base but recently the bottom started to rust and we were afraid it was going to fall over when someone took a shot.

We took apart the bottom and used a post hole digger to find a new, permanent home for our hoop.

It's adjustable, so we left it down a bit so it would be easier for our 10-year old son, Jacob, to shoot some baskets. (Secretly this is so I can do some slam dunks!)

Using the concrete mix was pretty easy and the whole project took about 90 minutes.

I'm no Michael Jordan or LeBron James but now I can polish up my game a bit.
