Lore Mound Trailer Court Fire

The Dubuque County Sherriff's Department reports, On 03-01-21, at approximately 1211 hours, Deputies from the Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office, along with Asbury Police, Asbury Fire, and Sherrill Fire responded to 15462 Lewis Road #17 for a reported structure fire. Upon arrival, the trailer was found to be fully engulfed. The residence is considered a total loss, estimated at $50,000. The family’s dog was trapped inside the residence and did not survive. Heat damage was also observed to trailer 16 and trailer 18, unknown damage amount. Nothing was found to be suspicious about the cause of the fire.
