If there were a segment called "get to know Chris Farber" there would have to be an entire chapter just dedicated to my favorite foods.

The first item listed would be soup!

I love soup. In fact, I always brag that I could eat soup everyday.

I just finished shoveling... well, how about a big bowl of chicken noodle, please? Grilled cheese? Make sure I've got a hot bowl of tomato soup!

The funny thing is, it could be 95 degrees outside and I would still love some hot soup.

Locally my favorite spots include Big Apple Bagels, Sunshine Restaurant and Mario's for some Minestrone. Some of my other favorites have been Matzo Ball soup at Katz Delicatessen in New York City, Corned Beef and Potato at Grampa's Bakery & Restaurant in Fort Lauderdale and anything soup at Cecil's Deli in St. Paul.

Unless it's a really thick soup I usually like extra crackers, too.

I also found something online from the BBC that says chicken soup is one of the best things to eat during cold and flu season. Hot, steamy soup loosens up congestion and the salt and warmth can help soothe a sore throat... so it's a win-win!

So how about you? Are you a soup fiend like me? What's your fav? Drop me a note and let me know!
