Michael Shannon and Kate Arrington Look Chic at the 2017 Oscars

Michael Shannon walked the red carpet in a black tux at the 2017 Academy Awards, matching his date and partner since 2002, Kate Arrington.

Shannon is nominated for Best Supporting Actor for playing Bobby Andes in Nocturnal Animals. This is second first Academy Award nomination. He was also nominated for the same category in 2008 for Revolutionary Road.

Hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, the 89th Annual Academy Awards ceremony takes place at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood on Sunday, February 26, broadcast live on ABC beginning at 8:30 PM EST. The 2017 Academy Award nominees were announced on January 24.
