The kids are driving you nuts bouncing off the walls? Try this out!

Jacob just celebrated his 10th birthday and our good buddy Marc and his family gifted him a "Beamo Flying Hoop."

It's basically a lightweight frisbee that you can hurl over a hundred feet. We have a large field behind our house so we have plenty of room to toss it back and forth.

Even if you don't have a lot of space, it's so light weight you would have trouble damaging anything with it. The hoop also has a large center hole, which makes it much easier to catch.

We've been out to toss it daily and Jacob has made a game out of catching it over your head for "extra points."

If you'd like to grab one, our friends at Poopsies in Galena (at 402 South Main Street) have them available. The storefront is closed due to COVID-19 but you can call to arrange a pick-up. (I couldn't find it on their WEBSITE, but I'm guessing that's because they're too large to ship!) You can call 815-777-1999 to chat with them.

They're not expensive and a lot of fun so I would suggest you pick one up for the kids.
