There are certain summertime activities that I always look forward to. Fireworks and rodeos rank up on the list... and this week you can get your fill in Bellevue!

The 33rd annual Jackson County Pro Rodeo goes down this Thursday, Friday and Saturday (6/17 to 6/19) at the Bellevue Horseman's Club Arena. (It's 25125 297th Avenue in Bellevue... use your GPS if necessary!)

This year you'll see all your favorite rodeo events, including mutton bustin' and the pig scramble! Each night starts with a kid's corral nightly from 5:30 to 6:30pm. Thursday night is kids night, too! The first 300 kids through the gate get a free rodeo t-shirt from Mighty Miss Designs in Bellevue!

Gates will open each night at 5:30pm and the rodeo starts at 7:30pm, rain or shine!

Make plans to stick around as there are free fireworks and a rodeo dance after the rodeo all three nights!

You can find coupons for free kids tickets at all three Dubuque Hy-Vee locations and advance tickets are on sale now at Theisens, Longhorn Saddlery and at Brad Deery Motors in Maquoketa. (Advance ticket sales end Wednesday, June 16th.)

You can also listen to Y105 this week to win a pair of tickets during our '8 Seconds' contest!

Make sure you bring your lawn chairs and blankets for all the fun! If you want to more, visit their rodeo website for all the info!
